By the time the Warnermedia Discovery deal was announced people said Comcast would make a move after the that deal went through well that deal is closing in 2 weeks, $CMCSA and $PARAA are still not making a move their joint venture SkyShowtime is launching in Europe in 9 countries I believe (could be more not sure) this year, Brian Roberts seems to love NBCU and I agree with him unlike ATT and Warnermedia Comcast and NBCUniversal have worked like a symphony now the question for you will Brian Roberts unload NBCUniversal or not in my opinion I don't think they will.
IMHO, in August we will see some small correction. Anyone with me? No need to insult to disagree, just wondering how others feel about the market. GLTA! $MA $V $GOOGL $AMZN $CMCSA $JPM $SQ $VOO
Twenty-First Century Fox (FOX, FOXA) will sell its 39% ownership in Sky (OTCQX:SKYAY) to Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) at the £17.28/share price that Comcast bid for the rest of the company. It's that

Look at the price your cable ISP is charging you and then look at the price and speed of Verizon Home 5G. Will $CMCSA keep their $180 billion dollar market cap when another company is offering more speed at half the price? I'm not sure if $VZ will be the winners of the 5G war, but it will be good to at least have competition in the high speed internet arena again.
so Hulu president just left the company and is reportedly in negotiations with NBCUniversal to be a senior executive probably overseeing Peacock with this move i think sometime soon enough we will see $DIS buy $CMCSA stake in HULU.
Premier league right stays with $CMCSA until 2028 with a price tag of $2.6 billion also building new sound stages with a price tag of $1 billion behind their park in Hollywood also building a new theme park in Florida their biggest in the US behind the Universal Beijing in China their largest park in the World or Brian Roberts is crazy or he really wants NBCUniversal to stay with them them but also be a big player. I still think Brian is going to spin off NBCUniversal i don't think he should but how are you gonna invest in streaming when you aren't funding enough with Netflix spending $17billion that's a tough choice continue spending or spin off.

Advertising revenue is high margin! Here we go! There’s a big reason Comcast $CMCSA and Disney $DIS owns shares in $FUBO
Look at these numbers (posted by Walt Piecyk). These AGs are playing pure politics now...the question now is Judge Merraro in on it too??? Q4 post-paid phone net adds $TMUS +1 million $CMCSA +261k $T +206k $S -115k $VZ reports tomorrow
Asset of VIAC is valuable and only a matter of time before it is picked up by $CMCSA, $NFLX, $DIS, $AAPL, or $AMZN. Fully expect it to go the way of FOX. A lot of the players trying to enter streaming would really love the library VIAC has that spans all ages and categories
i think we may have another acquisition incoming Viacomcbs is separating its Movie and TV units making two different companies if $CMCSA ever were to go after Viacomcbs they would have to spin off NBC it CBS looks like Viacom is making easier for Comcast make an offer for them.

Americans spent 44% more time streaming video in 2020Q4. The streaming wars among $NFLX, $AMZN, $CMCSA, $DISCA, $VIAC, $T and $DIS really begin now post COVID. $DIS + growth is slowing down, but content is what it matters. $DIS will survive strong.
people saying to $CMCSA to sell NBCU haven't seen the earnings of Netflix streaming is slowing down not in the US but around the world also NBCU was a bright spot in the earnings Comcast market cap is $222 billion of that $100 billion belongs to NBCU Brian may spin it in the future but right now specially with the theme parks, NBCU belongs in Comcast
I'm still supportive of $CMCSA spinning off NBCUniversal since they don't from the looks of it want to build Peacock and are still licensing to other services what's the point of announcing a new service, launch and then let it run dry while others are building their services with their own and NBCUniversal stuff in there as well just spin off NBCUniversal already
